ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF
INTENTION TO ISSUE CERTIFICATES OF OBLIGATION
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntsville,
Texas, has heretofore found and determined, and hereby af-
rmatively finds and determines, that it is necessary and
desirable for said City to purchase land for police station
and municipal court building purposes for said City, and
that certificates of obligation be issued by the City to pay
for all or any part of the cost of same; and
WHEREAS, said City Council wishes to proceed with
authorizing the publication of notice of the City's inten-
tion to issue such certificates of obligation; Now, There-
fore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTSVILLE:
Section 1. That the facts and recitations contained in
the preamble of this ordinance are hereby found and declared
to be true and correct.
Section 2. That the City Secretary is hereby authorized
and directed to cause to be published in the manner required
by law a notice of intention to issue certificates of obli-
gation in substantially the following form:

t"ection 3. That the Notice set forth in Section 2 of
this ordinance shall be given in accordance with Article
2368a.1, V.T.C.S.," and shall be published in the English and
Spanish languages, respectively, in The Huntsville Item, the
City's official newspaper, same being a newspaper as defined
by Article 28a, V.T.C.S., and published and of general
circulation in the City of Huntsville, once a week for two
(2) consecutive weeks, the date of the first publication to
be at least fourteen (14) days prior to the date set for the
issuance of said certificates.
