WHEREAS, it has become apparent that the amount of deposit
charged by the City of Huntsville for water service for the various
Huntsville water users is creating a financial problem to the City;
arid
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Customer Service
Supervisor, Grace Turner, to increase the present deposit amounts
to offset financial loss to the City of Huntsville through bad
accounts; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council and City
Administration to correct this problem;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that as of October 8, 1974,
the following rates are adopted by the City Council of the City
of Huntsville and are effective on this the 8 th day of October,
1974:

Small businesses (sales)
Apts. of 20 units or less
