AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PART 6, SECTION (c), SUBSECTION (1), CHAPTER 4A,
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE ENTITLED, "AUTOMOBI
WRECKERS," BY DELETING A PART OF SUBSECTION (1).
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Huntsville, Texa
that Chapter 4A, entitled Automobile Wreckers, of the Code of Ordinance
of the City of Huntsville, Texas be amended as follows:
Part #6: Wrecker Certificates--Applications, Fees, Requirements
(c) Class A wreckers shall meet the following requirements:
(1) Note: The reference to "7,500 pounds," is her by
deleted from this Subsection (1) so that herei after
this Subsection (1) shall read as follows:
Subsection (1) Shall not be less than three-fourths (3/4) ton
(minimum gross vehicle weight) in capacity as
reflected on the manufacturer's certificate,
then the.. gross vehicle weight shall be deter-
mined by a testing procedure approved by the
Chief of Police. All such vehicles shall be
equipped with booster brakes.
