Cline Subdivision abandonmentAN ORDINANCE ABANDONING 25 FOOT STRIP OFF SOUTH SIDE OF LOT N0,5 ACCORDING TO SUBDIVISION PLAT OF A, L, CLINE SUBDIVISION AND DESCRIBED IN A DEED FROM A LICE CLINE TO RAYMOND G. MCCARTY AND WIFE, JEANETTE MCCARTY RECORDED IN VOLUME 161, PAGE 260 OF THE' WALKER COUNTY DEED RECORDS. WHEREAS, the owners of all of the land abutting a 25 foot easement off the south side of Lot No, 5 of the A. L. Cline Subdivision pLat and re- served in a deed from Alice Cline to Raymond G, McCarty and wife, Jeanette McCarty dated June 2, 1958, and recorded in Volume 161, Page 260 of the Deed Records of Walker County, Texas, have petitioned the City Council of the City of Huntsville to abandon said 25 foot easement, and it being to the public interest and benefit that said easement be so abandoned for public use, the city council has considered and passed; BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS: Section 1, That the 25 foot easement off the south side of Lot No, 5 of the subdivision of the A. L. Cline plat and retained in a deed from Alice Cline to Raymond G. McCarty and wife, Jeanette McCarty dated June 2, 1958 and recorded in Volume 161, Page 260 of the Walker County Deed Records as an easement for a road for use in connection with the public and the abutt- ing property owners thereon, be abandoned and discontinued for public use and that such abandonment be in the interest of public convenience and necessity, said 25 foot easement is hereby abandoned and closed.
