AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING A PORTION OF AVENUE MUM ',21ST
STREET SOUTH TO THE NORTH LINE OF 22ND STREET IN THE CITY OF
HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, in the calls for the East line of Avenue M', from
the South line of 21st Street to the North line of 22nd Street in
the City of Huntsville, in the deeds to the abutting property
there appear discrepancies as to the location of the East line,
ownersy/and there is no public necessity for that portion of
said street lying between the abutting property and a line ten
feet east of the present cuibtalong the pavement of said portion
of Avenue M.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE,
TEXASs
That that portion of Ague M which is ten feet east of
the curbealong the pavement between the South line of 21st Street
and the North line of 22nd Street in the City of Huntsville, Texas,
be and the same is hereby abandoned as and for a public street
and thoroughfare, the remaining street being placed far enough
west thereof to constitute a sufficient public street and thoroughs
fare adequate for the public use and benefit.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at the regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Huntsville the 6th day of December, 1960
to be effective from and after its passage.
