AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "PLUMBING CODE OF THE
CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS ", CODIFIED AS CHAPTER
14 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
HUNTSVILLE BY AMENDING SECTION 10.1 OF CHAPTER
10 TO INCREASE BONDS REQUIRED FROM $1,000.00 TO
$2,500.00; AND AMENDING PARAGRAPH 26.3 OF CHAPTER
26, BY INCREASING THE FINE UPON CONVICTION OF A
MISDEMEANOR FROM $100.00 TO NOT EXCEEDING $200.00;
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of untsville
that the "Plumbing Code of the City of Huntsville, Texas" codified
as Chapter 14 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of untsville,
be amended, by amending Section 10.1 of Chapter 10 of s ch
Plumbing Code, by substituting the sum of Twenty -Five H ndred
Dollars ($2,500.00) in lieu of the sum of One Thousand ollars
($1,000.00) as required for bond as therein provided; a d by
amending Paragraph 26.3 of Chapter 26 by substituting tie sum of
not exceeding Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) in lieu of the sum
of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) as fine upon convicti•' of a
misdemeanor for failure to comply with any of the provisions of
this ordinance. section 10.1(amount of bond amendment) shall b- effective
back to date originally moved to initiate same by Council, of Nov er 14, 1972.
Passed and approved in open Council on this the 27th day of
September, 1976.
