THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGI EER
TO PREPARE AND FILE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR SUCH I 'ROVE -
MENTS TOGETHER WITH ESTIMATES OF THE COST THEREOF, AND A THORI-
ZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A MECHANIC'S AND MATERIA 'S
AND PAVING LIENS CONTRACTS WITH ABUTTING PROPERTY OWNERS
WHERE NECESSARY:
WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Hunt - ville,
Texas, has made a survey of improvements needed for certain
streets within the corporate limits of the City of Hunts ille,
Texas, and reported his findings from time to time to th
City Council and the Council having considered all the e idence
available has determined that a necessity exists for imp ove-
ments as recommended:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CO CIL OF
THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, that the City Council in egular
session has determined, and here finds that a necessity -xists
for the paving and improving of certain streets within t e
corporate limits of the City of Huntsville, as more part'cularly
described as follows:
A. To pave, curb and gutter Tenth Street from its inter-
section with U. S. Highway 75 North to the present West n oundary
of Tenth Street, a centerline distance of 528.30 feet.
Be it further ordained that the said City Engi eer,
is hereby directed to prepare and file with the City Council
plans and specifications for such work and preliminary estimates
of the cost thereof. It is further ordained that the Ma or
of the City of Huntsville, be, and he is hereby authoriz -d to
enter into Mechanic's and Materialman's and Paving Lien ontracts
with abutting property owners, where applicable, in accordance
with this ordinance and in accordance with Ordinances to be here-
inafter inacted for such paving and improvements of suc streets.
