ORD CC 12/19/1972 - Designating street improvementsAN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS TO BE CERTAIN STREETS WITHIN THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, FORTH THE TYPE OF IMPROVEMENTS TO BE MADE, STATING THE COST OF IMPROVEMENTS AND GIVING NOTICE TO INTERESTED P OWNERS OF THE DATE AND TIME SET FOR A HEARING ON SAID IMPROVEMENTS: E UPON ETTING ESTIMATED OPERTY ROPERTY BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the Ci y of Huntsville, Texas: WHEREAS, the City of Huntsville, Texas, acti g under and by virtue of Title 28, Chapter 9, Revised Civil Statutes of the State of Texas 1925, and all amendments thereof, par- ticularly Article 1105B thereof, and by Ordinance approved December 19, 1972, has determined that a necessity exi =ts for making certain improvements to certain specified s reets within the corporate limits of the City of Huntsville, Walker County, Texas, which said improvements are of the natu'e and located on certain streets as follows: A. To pave, curb and gutter Sycamore Street fro its intersection with U. S. Highway 190 East to its inters-ction with U. S. Highway 75 South, a centerline distance of ,678.91 feet. The street is to be 41' wide, concrete curb and gutter, 2" asphalt surface, 6" base coarse and 6" lime stabilized sub -base. TOTAL ESTIMATED COST OF IMPROVEMENTS $ 238,000.0 B. To pave, curb and gutter Old Sam Houston Roa• from its intersection with Loop 405 to its intersection wits U. S. Highway 75 South a centerline distance of 4,809.29 feet, The street is to be 37' wide, concrete curb and gutter, 2" asphalt surface, 6" base coarse and 6" lime stabilized sub -bas -. TOTAL ESTIMATED COST OF IMPROVEMENTS $ 144,200.( C. To pave, curb and gutter Angier Road from its i with Old Houston Road to its intersection with U.
