FORTH THE TYPE OF IMPROVEMENTS TO BE MADE, STATING THE ES IMATED
COST OF IMPROVEMENTS AND GIVING NOTICE TO INTERESTED PROP'RTY
OWNERS OF THE DATE AND TIME SET FOR A HEARING<ON SAID PR.r ERTY
IMPROVEMENTS:
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City
Huntsville, Texas:
WHEREAS, the City of Huntsville, Texas, acting
and by virtue of Title 28, Chapter 9, Revised Civil Stet
of the State of Texas of 1925, and all amendments thereo
ticularly Article 11058 thereof, and by Ordinance approv
December 12, 1972, has determined that a necessity exist
making certain improvements to certain specified streets
the corporate limits of the City of Huntsville, Walker C
Texas, which said improvements are of the nature and loc
certain streets as follows:
A. To install curb and gutter and pave Old Madiso
Road from its intersection with 7th Street to its inters
with Highway 75 North with 1,288 feet of curb, gutter an
on the North side of said street, and 1,176 feet of curb
and paving, on the South side of said street. The stree

from its intersection with Old Madisonville Road to a de

The pavement and improvement of such streets a d the
installation of said curb and gutters shall be done in a cor-
dance with plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer
of the City of Huntsville, Texas, and approved by the Co moil.
The paving and improvements shall consist of raising, lo}aering
and grading of said street, constructing storm drainage,' and
where applicable concrete curbs and gutters and paving t e same
with appropriate covering as specified in said plans and speci-
fications including base coarse and surface topping. Th width

be assessed against abutting property owners shall not e ceed the
amount allowed by law and such assessments shall be paid by abutting
property owners on the front foot plan as the most equit -ble method
of assessment.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the estimate of t e costs
of such improvements now on file with the Secretary of e City
of Huntsville, Texas, heretofore prepared by the City E •sneer
under the directions of the City Council be, and the sa e is
hereby approved.
It is further ordained that a statement of th= estimated
amount of the assessment to be made against the Owner o Owners
of Claimants of abutting porperty and against said proper
be filed in the Office of the City Secretary, and the int
parties shall have the right to examine the same at all r
hours. That the estimated amount or amounts per front fo

Be it further ordained that a hearing shall be
