OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, MAKING THE
REWARD IN THE AMOUNT OF $250.00 FOR INFORMATION LEADING TO
THE ARREST AND CONVICTION OF ANY PERSON OR PERSONS FOUND
GUILTY OF COMMITTING THE CRIME OF ARSON WITHIN THE CITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CHAPTER 13,
SECTION 13 -2, IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS:
CHAPTER 13
OFFENSES AND MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS
SECTION 13 -2: Arson -- Reward for information leading
to conviction.
The City of Huntsville, Texas, hereby offers a
reward of TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS ($250.00) for
the arrest and conviction of any person or persons
found guilty of committing the crime of ARSON within
the corporate limits of said City of Huntsville, Texas.
This reward is a standing offer, and shall be paid out
of the General Fund of the City of Huntsville, Texas.
APPROVED IN OPEN COUNCIL BY UNANIMOUS VOTE UPON
FIRST READING, on this the 12th day of January, A.D.,
1971.
