Proc. 2014-01A T.A.C. Day 10-20-13 PROCLAMATION NO. 2014-01 & ½ WHEREAS Todd A. Christian has provided an outstanding example of the ability to pack and unpack in his few short years, particularly during the month of August, when the floor of his bedroom disappears completely (along with the pool table and back fence); and WHEREAS Todd was so overcome by his exemplary performance as a Course Leader for National Youth Leadership Training at Camp Strake last year, he attempted to deforest it using the rear bumper, tailgate, and light assembly of his truck as he was leaving. Unfortunately, the area was so destroyed that the entire campground had to be sold for development; and WHEREAS Todd has used his experiences to ensure that he is never without every part of his uniform, since having to live down assuring his sainted and long-suffering mother that he had everything he needed to attend a staff development session at the Cockrell Scout Center in Houston, when he had actually left his uniform shirt hanging on the china cabinet in the house, where he “couldn’t miss it.” NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY PROCLAIMED, by the power vested in me as Mayor of the City of Huntsville, Texas that: October 20, 2013 be declared: “T.A.C. Day” in the City of Huntsville, and call upon our citizens to watch out for Todd when packing, unpacking, reversing, or racing out the door to an event, for their own good and his! th PROCLAIMED AND SIGNED this 20 day of October 2013. _____________________ Mac Woodward, Mayor
