PROCLAMATION
NO. 2019-06
WHEREAS Brad Brock and the House of Hope in Madisonville have been instrumental in changing lives through the freedom of recovery over the last ten years; and
WHEREAS they have shepherded over 1,500 men through a twelve-month in-house program wherein participants build relationships with Jesus Christ and restore themselves to their families;
and
WHEREAS Mr. Brock and the House of Hope has partnered with many area churches, including the New Start Fellowship Church, to assist men who seek to be saved from addiction; and
WHEREAS tonight we recognize Mr. Brock and the House of Hope’s services for the program’s dedication in helping our residents and creating a better future for all.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY PROCLAIMED, by the power vested in me as Mayor of the City of Huntsville, Texas, that:
November 11, 2018
be declared: BRAD BROCK AND HOUSE OF HOPE DAY
in the City of Huntsville and urge all residents to support their efforts and the successes of the men who participate in their vital programs.
