Proclamation N0. 2020-12
WHEREAS Love Dance and Cheer Company was established by owner LaTanya Hall Love in September 2013, with a vision of empowering and helping young girls find their confidence all while
building self-esteem through dance and cheer; and
WHEREAS, the company was built on the “lending a helping hand” mindset, willing to help the families of at risk children in the community, staff are mentors for the Huntsville School
District; the parents of the girls trust the company to be a liaison if there is behavioral issue or just to eat lunch with them; and
WHEREAS, the lives touched can’t be measured, and the look on a young girls’ face can’t be verbally expressed, as each dancer is encouraged to put 100 percent on the floor, in dancing
and in every endeavor they come across; and
WHEREAS, the spirit of giving people their flowers while they live is just one-way LaTanya Hall has touched this community and deserves flowers herself, and so much more; and
WHEREAS, Love Dance and Allstar Cheer Company provides all students a safe place to become physically active and make positive connections with their peers; the staff strives on building
each student’s character as well as their self-esteem and confidence.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY PROCLAIMED, by the power vested in me as the Mayor of the City of Huntsville, Texas that:

be declared: Love Dance and Cheer Day
in the City of Huntsville and urge the residents of our community to echo the efforts and positive difference the company has made in #HomeSweetHuntsville.
