FIRST
RATE FOR LIMITED USE-RESIDENCE SERVICE
Availabilit
This rate is available under the
regular terms and conditions of the Company for do-
mestic lighting, It is also available under the reg-
ular terms and conditions of the Company for other
domestic uses of electricity of customers not eligible
to the Electric Home Service Rate, or not desiring
to make use of the same

This rate is available under the
regular terms and conditions of the Company for lighting

Availability
This rate is available under the
regular terms and conditions of the Company for all
domestic uses of electricity in a home in which there
is permanently installed, and regularly used, one or
more of the following appliances :
(a) Electric range of not less than 4,000 watt capacity
(b) Electric water heater of not less than 1, 500 watt
capacity.
(c) Electric refrigerator of not less than 3 1/2 cubic
feet storage capacityo
This rate is subject to approval
by the Company of all equipment used.
This rate is not available for
customers who supply electricity to two or more tenants
of dupleX or apartment houses through, one meter®

In the event any customers do not

Use-Residence Rate", they will be privileged to retain
the present "Elec#ric Home Service Rate" which will

FOURTH
RETAIL POWER-10PITERED
Availability:
This rate is available under the reg-
ular terms and conditions of the Company for elect-
rolytic processes, heating apparatus$ electric motors
and ce�ligg fans, when capacity is equivalent to one
horsepower(74o watts) or more, and when the Company's
service is used exclusively. This rate is allowed to all
commercial or domestic refrigeration installations.
Rate :
6¢ per Kw«h for first 200 Kw-h

The rates herein provided shall take

Gentlemen:
We request your approval of a reduction in the rates
for electric service in the City of Huntsville, effective
October 1, 1929, and are attaching hereto schedules for the
various services®
The "Full Use Residence Rate" will allow customers to
extend the use of electric service - in their homes at a lower
rite than the present Home Serl'ice Rate. In the event any
of our customers do not desire to use the additional serv-
ice, they are privileged to retain the present electric; Home
Service Rate.
By referring to the sheet headed "Rate for Limited
Use--Residence Service" , you will notice that a substantial
reduction has been made for customers who use our service
for lighting purposes only.
The rates for lights and for power applying to stores,
offices, etc. are substantially reduced.
This is the third voluntary reduction of rates in
Huntsville, since our organization has assumed management
there.
We wish to take this occasion to thank you for your
cooperation in the past, which has been a source of great
satisfaction to us and a means for making our work more easy
and pleasant. We solicit and hope to deserve a continuation
of this cooperation, and pledge the activities and resources
of our organization to the upbuilding of Huntsville and its
environs.
