RESO CC 1975-32 - Drainage reconstruction RESOLUTION NO. 75-32
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Huntsville, by
resolution passed on tie 1-4th day of january, 1975, authorized
the City Administration to actively seek financial assistance
for Conriiunity Development needs under the provisions of Lhu
Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 as administered
by the Department of Housing and Urban Development; and
WHEREAS the City Administration , through citizen participation
delineated community needs and submitted applications for 1975 to
the Department of Housing and Urban Development in compliance with
the provisions of the Act which were subsequently approved and
f.-rjdedl; and
WHEREAS the approved 1.975 application required the development
and inclusion of a thyee year Community Development Program; and
WHEREAS said three year program was the result of citizen
participation, and whereas citizen input for the development of
the L976 application did not alter the priorities and projects
outlined in the three year Program;
NOW THEREFORE BE 1T RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Huntsville, Texas that the following projects - to wit
(1) Reconstruction of street drainage crossing
at 7th Street on Town Branch,
(2) Reconstruction of the east street drainage
crossing at l0th Street on Town Branch, and
(Q Removal of obstructions and shaping of the
Town Branch creek between 10th and 7th Streets
as established for the second year of the three year program be
submitted for funding consideration in the 1976 application to
the Department of Housing and Ufban Development in compliance
with the rules and regulations of the oi5ing and Communit-,;
Development Act of 1974.,
