RESO CC 11/09/1971 - Designating City Engineer RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, by Resolution dated August 23, 1971, the
City Council of the City of Huntsville, Texas, designated CLARENCE
E. HAM, City Engineer, of the City of Huntsville, Texas, as the
official representative for said City in executing any instruments,
applications, or other necessary correspondence and in making appear-
ances in representing the said City before the Texas Water Quality
Board and the Texas Water Development Board in connection with seeking
financial assistance from Federal and State Agencies concerning
water treatment or sewage disposal systems under appropriate statutes

concerning same; and
i WHEREAS, the said CLARENCE E. HAM will no longer be able
to fulfill the responsibility imposed by said Resolution and a
necessity exists for the designation of another individual in lieu
of the said CLARENCE E. HAM.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, that 0. C. NELSON, Administrative
Assistant to the Mayor of the City of Huntsville, Texas, be, and
he is hereby designated, the official representative of the City of
Huntsville, Texas, to make appearances, to sign applications, and to

do any and all things necessary in behalf of the City cf Huntsville,
Texas, before the Texas Water Quality Board and the Texas Water
Development Board pursuant to any rules or regulations, statutes,
or otherwise in connection with obtaining financial assistance to
the City of Huntsville, Texas, in connection with the construction or
improvement of water treatment facilities or sewage disposal systems
and related facilities.
Whereupon said Resolution having been duly made and
seconded, was, by unanimous vote on this the 9th day of November,
A. D. , 1971, duly passed by the City Council of the City of Hunts-
ville, Texas.
