ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, BY
ADDING A NEW SUB-PARAGRAPH TO BE NUMBERED PARA-
GRAPH 13-15 ENTITLED PUNISHMENT FOR MISDEMEANOR
THEFT DEFINING THE TERM THEFT AND SETTING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS,
THAT CHAPTER 13 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE,
TEXAS, IS HEREBY AMENDED BY ADDING A NEW SUB-PARAGRAPH TO BE NUMBERED
PARAGRAPH 13-15 AND WHICH SAID NEW PARAGRAPH SHALL READ AS FOLLOWS:
13-15: Punishment for a misdemeanor theft.
Any person convicted in the corporation court of the
City of Huntsville, Texas for the offense of theft of
property of the value of 45.00 or under shall be punished
by a fine not exceeding $200.00. Theft, as that term is
used herein, shall mean and include all definitions and
explanations of the word "theft" as used in the Penal Code
of the State of Texas.
