ORD CC 01/01/1970 - Declaring estimated population AN ORDIANCE DECLARING THE ESTIMATED POPULATION OF THE CITY.
OF HUNTSVILLE AS OF THE FIRST DAY OF JANUARY, 1970•
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, by reason of the enlargement of the City limits of
the City of Huntsville since the regular United States census of
1960, and the increase in the population since that date, it is
necessary and desirable that the present estimated population of
the City of Huntsville be revised.
THEREFORE, it is hereby declared by the City Council of the
City of Huntsville, Texas , that the estimated population of the
City of Huntsville as of January 1, 1970 be and the same is here-
by declared to be 18, 000.
PASSED by unanimous vote of the City Council and approved
this 13th day of January, 1970.
