ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THE �';�ITH, FOR THE
SAME OR SUIILAR SERVICE AND DECLARING AN
'CERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY 'HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FIUNTSVILLE, IN
COUNCIL ASSELMa ED:
FIRST:--
That the flat rate isavaila';)le , under the regular
terms and conditions of the "ies6ern Public Service
Company for signs , , awnings , decorative
lighting, etc . , where the company maintains a regular
lighting and patrol service , and -where the control service
is loc-ted on the exterior of the customer's premises .
The Company will supply this class of service
from dusk to 11:00 P.M. , or approximately 1,800 hours
;,reurly. Each instailation small be provided with and

controlled by some stan(:ard switching device , w ich,
together with tine installation, shall be approved by
the company.

The above rate does not include maintenance of
signs and fixtures , but does include the renewal of
lamps. The customer is to furnish the initial installation
of lamps , which shall be 1,1azda lamps.

Where flashers are used, the above rate
will be modified to conform to the actual kilowatt
hours consumed by the sign, including current con-
sumed by the motor or other flashing mechanism.
For this purpose an estimate or actual measurement
may be made at the discretion of the company.

SECOND:
All other rates now in force for the same
or similar services are hereby repealed, and this
ordinance shall become effective as of the first day
of July, 1927 , and shall take effect from and after
its passage and a_)proval.
