AND CEILING FANS ON A FLAT RATE, OR NOT, AND
PROVIDING FOR THE CONTINUATION OF ALL OTHER
ORDINANCES NOW IN EFFECT PRESCRIBING THE
RATES WHICH MAY BE CHARGED FOR ELECTRIC CUR -
RENT WITHIN THE CITY OF HUNTSVIL E, AND DE-
CLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE,
IN COUNCIL ASSEMBLED:
FIRST:--
That the First and Second Sections of the
ordinance heretofore adopted on the 6th day of April,
1926, making it optional with the Western 7ublic
Service Company to furnish current for electric lights
and ceiling fans on a flat rate, be and the same are
hereby repealed.
SECOND: --
Except as herein modified,. the ordinances
heretofore adopted, prescribing the rates which may
an d
be charged for electric current, /for ceiling fans within
the City of Huntsville, and except as hereafter modified
by ordinance, shall remain in full force and effect.
THIRD: --
This ordinance stall take effect from and
after its passage and approval.
