P roclamation N0. 2020-04
WHEREAS Nikolas Brown is an 18-year-old student at Houston Baptist University, currently
a freshman studying Cyber Engineering; and
WHEREAS Brown attended Huntsville Independent School District and Summit Christian
Academy, being an active Scout since first grade, focused on finishing his Eagle
scout with Troop 114; and
WHEREAS Nikolas’ Eagle Scout project was creating four little libraries, that were installed in
the City of Crockett; and
WHEREAS Brown’s future is bright with plans to finish Cyber Engineering degree, then
transfer to Texas A&M University in pursuit of a Biomedical Engineering degree to
help people with epilepsy, which he was diagnosed with at the young age of 12,
and others with long-term disabilities; and
WHEREAS Nikolas Brown has exhibit all the qualities of an Eagle Scout, demonstrating Scout
Spirit, service, leadership, and is expected to join the ranks of Eagle Scouts across
the nation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY PROCLAIMED, by the power vested in me as the Mayor
of the City of Huntsville, Texas, that:

be declared: F. EARLINE IRVING DAY
in Huntsville, Texas, and encourage all citizens to honor this great example of a woman.
