Proc. 2012-49 2012 Dan Marshall and Missouri Bradford Family Reunion Day 07-07-12 PROCLAMATION
NO. 2012-49
WHEREAS today is the third biennial family reunion for the Dan Marshall and
Missouri Carr Bradford family; and
WHEREAS this celebration started a tradition for all their descendants to
embrace their past and learn of their rich family legacy; and
WHEREAS Mr. and Mrs. Bradford raised seventeen children in New Waverly
on a few acres of land, with a mule and a strong faith in God, of
whom only Mary Bradford Humphrey remains and still lives on the
homestead; and
•
WHEREAS the innumerable progeny of this family gather today from across
Texas and as far as California,among them church leaders,business
owners, and teachers, to continue to instill the desire of this family
to be people of integrity.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT HEREBY PROCLAIMED,by the power vested in the
Mayor of the City of Huntsville, Texas that:

in the City of Huntsville and all are encouraged to wish this family a wonderful
gathering today and for many years to come.
