ber, A.D., 18,8, at the City Council rooms of the City of Hunts-
ville, in said city, a regular meeting of the City Council was
held, at which were present the I:!Iayor and folloving named Alder-
men: F. 0. Brown, J. D. Clarke, J. L. Smith, H. F. dickes and
F. L. ,Markham, and two-thirds of ell of the Aldermen of said
city voting in favor of the following ordinance, the same Ewa s
declared passed and adopted:
BL IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUTICIL OF IHIUNTSVILLE IN COUNCIL ASSE1-
BLED:
`What the general lairs of this State arperteining to
cities and towns es found and contained in Chapters one, two,
three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten end eleven,
title seventeen of the Revised Civil Statutes, and the amend -
ments thereto, passed by the Sixteenth Legislature of this
State, approved LIarch 17, 1879, and all other amendments there-
to, be and the same are hereby accepted and adopted es the laws
governing the City of Huntsville.
