ORDINANCE NO. 74 -18
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE DATED AND
PASSED DECEMBER 4, of 1973, ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE
DETERMINING AND FIXING THE MAXIMUM SCHEDULE OF
RATES TO BE CHARGED BY UNITED GAS, INC., ITS
SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, IN THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE,
TEXAS, FOR NATURAL GAS AND NATURAL GAS SERVICE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS:
Section 1: That Ordinance dated such and heretofore passed on
DECEMBER 4, of 1973, aetermining and fixing the maximum
schedules of rates to be charged by United Gas, Inc.,
its successors and assigns, is hereby amended to in-
clude the following section:
Section 7: All adjustments of rates that become
applicable pursuant to the terms of any cost of pro-
viding gas service provisions in any rate schedules
now filed or filed in the future, shall become effective
only after thirty (30) days prior to written notice to
the City Council of the City of Huntsville, Texas, of
the approximate amount of the proposed adjustments and
such proposed adjustments shall not become effective
if disapproved by the City Council of said City during
such thirty (30) day period.
Section 2: The provisions of the within ordinance shall become
effective immediately upon passage.
