AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 12-33 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, BY ADDING A SUB-PARAGRAPH
PROHIBITINGPPARKING OF A VEHICLE IN THE SPECIFIED MANNER, AND
PROVIDING THE PENALTY THEREFOR:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, THAT:
Sectionll2-33 of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Huntsville, be amended by adding a new sub-paragraph
to be numbered (15) which said new sub-paragraph shall
read as follows:
SECTION 12-33: Prohibited in the Specified Places
No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle, except
when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic
or in compliance with law or directions of a police
officer or traffic control device, in any of the following
places:
(15) When the driver's side of the vehicle is next to
the curb or edge of the street except on one-way
streetsoidin such parking may be permitted in
the direction of the flow of traffic.
Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance
shall be punished as provided in Section 1-8 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Huntsville.
