REVISED ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE: ORDINANCE ADOPTING
THE CHAR TER :
Be it remembered that on this the 4th day of Deoembel
A.D. 1888, at the City Counoil rooms of the City of Huntsv-
ille ,in said City, a regular meeting of the City Counoil
was held, at whioh were present the Mayor and following named
Aldermen: F.O.Brown, J.D.Clark, J.L.Smith, H.F.Adi kss and
F.E.Markham,and two thirds of all the Aldermen of said City
voting in favor of the following ordinance, the same was
declared passed and adopted:
Be it ordained by the City Counoil of the City of
*natsville in Counoil Lgeembled;
That the general laws of this State appertaining
to pities and towns as found and o ontained in Chapters one,
two,three, foar, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, and
eleven, Title seventeen, of the Revised Civil Statutes, and
the amendment, thereto, passed by the Sixteenth Legislature
of this State, approved March 17, 1879, and all other amend-
ments thereto, be and the same are hereby accepted and adopted
as the laws governing the City of Huntsville.

an the 4th 187 of December, A.D. 1888.
