7th Street Rehabilitation Project • A Word From the

efforts to
improve
City
infrastructure, the 7th Street Rehabilitation Project
is fully underway.
The project will be completed in three phases.
Phase 1 began August 15 and is expected to be
complete mid-November. It includes:
- Reconstruction of pavement, curbs and gutters
between Old Madisonville Road & Avenue N
- 12"waterline replacement, between Old
Madisonville Road & Avenue M
- Sanitary sewer line replacement
- Sidewalk and ramp installations
7th Street between Avenue N and Old
Madisonville Road are expected to be closed until
mid-November, during phase 1 construction. All
three phases are expected to be completed in
February 2017.
Please be aware of the road closures and
construction zones and plan alternate routes. The
City of Huntsville will post regular updates on the
status of the project for all three phases. For more
information, please contact the City Engineer at
936-294-5760.
