Street Improvement Project Starting • A Word From the

This Week in
Huntsville
contractor, AAA Asphalt Paving Inc., will begin a
street milling and overlay project on August 8, on
the following City streets:
- Avenue Q (15th to 18th Streets)
- University (intersection with 7th Street to 600'
north of 7th Street)
- Bent Bough Park (Pine Grove Drive to Raven
Hill)
- Thornwood Way (FM 1374 to Pine Grove Drive).
Traffic along the above segments will be restricted
to one lane, with closures or detours to through
traffic possible for both the milling and paving
operations. Each street should take one or two
days to mill and one day to clean and overlay.
Residents should be able to travel to and from
their homes with only minor inconvenience.
Please stay alert to warning signs and plan to go
alternate routes until the improvements are
completed.
