MINUTES FROM THE HUNTSVILLE CITY COUNCIL AND PLANNING COMMISSION JOINT WORKSHOP HELD ON THE 4 DAY
OF FEBRUARY 2016, IN THE HUNTSVILLE CITY HALL, LOCATED AT 1212 AVENUE M, IN THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE,
COUNTY OF WALKER, TEXAS, AT 12:00 P.M.
The Council met in a joint workshop with the Planning Commission with the following:

COUNCILMEMBERS ABSENT: None
PLANNING COMMISSION MEMBERS PRESENT: Bill Barry, Leroy Hilton, Eric Johnston, Debra Durda, David Anderson, S.O.
Woods, Jr.
PLANNING COMMISSION MEMBERS ABSENT: Tommy Cummings
OFFICERS PRESENT: Matt Benoit, City Manager, Aron Kulhavy, Director of Community and Economic Development
1. CALL TO ORDER - Mayor Brauninger called the meeting to order at 12:04 p.m.
2. WORKSHOP – The City Council will meet with the Planning Commission to review major subdivision preliminary plat for
Texas Grand Ranch, Section 3A, located in the ETJ of the City of Huntsville. \[Aron Kulhavy, Director of Community &
Economic Development\]
Aron Kulhavy, Director of Community and Economic Development, presented the preliminary plat and noted the adherence to the
Development Code and prior variances granted. Rene Howes, with the developer, and Ross Corder and Mark Brown of
Jones/Carter, engineer for the project, also answered questions concerning the plat.
3. ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Brauninger adjourned the City Council portion of the meeting at 1:00 p.m.
