Holidays Around the World Event
Huntsville Public Library is excited to announce the annual “Holidays Around the World” event.
Designed to illustrate how various cultures and countries celebrate holidays around the world, this year’s
event will be held on Saturday, December 5 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Visitors can obtain a “passport,”
visit each country’s booth, learn about traditions, sample a unique snack, and take home a craft. “It is a
great family event and a way for kids to learn about other countries,” says Children’s Coordinator Rachel
McPhail.
