Thanksgiving Holiday Solid Waste & Recycling Pick Up Schedule
The City of Huntsville Solid Waste Transfer Station and Recycling Drop-Off Center will be closed in
observance of the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27. Due to the
closure for the Thanksgiving holiday, the following schedule will be followed:
RESIDENTIAL
Thursday, November 26:
-Residential Curbside Recycling Collection will be picked up the following Thursday, December 3
-Extra recycling on side of blue cart will be picked up
Friday, November 27:
-Residential Curbside Recycling Collection will be picked up the following Friday, December 4
-Extra recycling on side of blue cart will be picked up
COMMERCIAL
Thursday, November 26:
-Commercial Garbage Collection customers with a scheduled Thursday dumpster/roll off/compactor
pickup will be serviced on Wednesday, November 25
Friday, November 27:
-Commercial Garbage Collection customers with a scheduled Friday dumpster/roll off/compactor pickup
will be serviced on Saturday, November 28
The Solid Waste Transfer Station and Recycling Drop-Off Center will be open on Saturday, November 28
from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
