WHEREAS approximately 25o local children and residents regularly utilize Kate Barr Ross
Fields 7 and 8, and
WHEREAS the lighting on thesefields had been in place forforty years, without upgrade, and
WHEREAS due to the receipt of $166,5oo through an Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block
Grant Program from the United States Department of Energy, these lights have
now been replaced with a Light - Structure Green energy efficient lighting structure,
and
WHEREAS the City of Huntsville would like to express its sincere appreciation for this grant,
and the ability to provide a more responsibly lit facility for the children and the
community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBYPROCLALMED, by the power vested in me as
the Mayor of the City of Huntsville, Texas that:

"Youth League Night"
in the City of Huntsville and urge all residents to join with them to celebrate this special
addition to the community's Youth League fields.
