WHEREAS on June 9, 2ozo, an international delegation from the Poland Office of the
Director General of Prison Services arrived in Huntsville, TX; and
WHEREAS the purpose of the assembly of Polish Prison delegates is to explore and
learn about the internal workings of the Texas Department of Criminal
Justice; and
WHEREAS the Texas Department of Criminal Justice is an integral component of
Huntsville, impacting the lives of a great number of its residents; and
WHEREAS we as a City value and respect intercultural experiences and the chance to
learn from international professionals; and
WHEREAS the delegation's visit will expose Huntsville to possible future tourism on an
international scale.
NOW THEREFORE, BEITHEREBYP.ROCLAIMED, by the power vested in me asMayor of
the City of Huntsville, Texas that:
