CONSENT AGENDA The presiding officer will call for public comments before action is taken on these items. (Approval of Consent Agenda authorizes the City Manager to implement each item in accordance with staff recommendations. An item may be removed from the Consent Agenda and added to the Statutory Agenda for full discussion by request of a member of Council.) a. Consider authorizing the City Manager to approve the Phase 2 professional engineering services for the Dawson Lake Dam Drainage Project with Walter P. Moore and Associates, Inc. Kathlie Jeng-Bulloch, City Engineer b. First Reading - Consider adopting Ordinance 2025-20, amending Chapter 12 of the Huntsville Code of Ordinances, Buildings and Building Regulations, to establish regulations for vacant buildings. Consider approving and authorizing the City Manager to sign the agreement with the Walker County Economic Development Corporation to promote and facilitate activities that enhance the economic base of Huntsville and Walker County through attraction, creation, expansion and retention of business and industry, focusing on value added to local resources and manufacturing.
