A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, APPOINTING JOANN PURVIS AS DEPUTY CITY
SECRETARY FOR THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, AND DECLARING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
Whereas, the City needs to have a Deputy City Secretary to sign documents and certify City
records in the absence of the City Secretary; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS,
that:
SECTION 1: JoAnn Purvis is hereby appointed Deputy City Secretary for the City of
Huntsville, Texas, and is authorized to perform all functions of City Secretary for the City in the
absence of the City Secretary.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall be effective from and after the date of its passage.
