A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE
ESTABLISHING CITIZEN COMPLAINT PROCEDURES REGARDING ITS TEXAS
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS:
WHEREAS it is hereby declared that the City of Huntsville establish local written Citizen Complaint
Procedures regarding its Texas Community Development Program (TCDP); and
WHEREAS it is further declared that establishment of such procedures requires the designation of a person
to receive and respond to such complaints; and
WHEREAS it is the intent of the City of Huntsville to investigate complaints about proposed TCDP
activities or the implementation of past TCDP assisted activities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE,
TEXAS, that:
1. The City adopt the attached citizen complaint handling procedures; and
2. The City Council designates the Director of Planning and Development or his/her designee as the
Community Development Citizen Coordinator; and
The City directs the Community Development Citizen Coordinator to receive and respond to complaints
as outlined in Exhibit `A'.

1. Complain to the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs under their Complaint System,
10 T.A.C. Sec. 178.1 and 178.2.
