AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 2 -45, FEES FOR
COPIES OF CERTAIN RECORDS; PROVIDING FOR A FEE FOR TAX
CERTIFICATES; AND MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS
RELATED THERETO.
WHEREAS, Section 31.08 of the Texas Tax Code authorizes the tax collector of a
taxing unit to charge a fee not to exceed $10 for each tax
certificate issued;
NOW THEREFORE,
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Huntsville, Texas,that:
Section 1: Chapter 2, Administration, of the Code of Ordinance of the City of
Huntsville, Texas, is hereby amended by the repeal of Sec. 2 -45.
As presently constituted and by the adoption of a new Sec. 2 -45
that shall read as follows:
Sec. 2 -45. Fees for copies of certain records.
The cost for provisions of city records shall be as follows:
(a) Police automobile accident reports, each $3 00
(b) Municipal court records, including judgments and
and complaints, each 3.00
(c) Minutes of council or other boards or commissions,
per page 0.25
(d) Copies of resolutions, ordinance, and other legal
documents, per page 0 25
Minimum 3 00
(e) Copies of birth er- death certificates, each . . . . Sr9A 7.50
(f) Copies of death certificates, each 7.50
each extra copy 2.00
(g) Maps or plats:
Up to 24" x 36" blueline, each 4.00
Up to 24" x 36" mylar, each 6.00
Larger than 24" x 36 ", each 8.00
(h) Property tax certificate, each 10.00
(i) Other records or documents may be reproduced at a fee to be
determined by the city manager and equal to the labor and
material cost to provide such copy. (Ord. No. 82 -28, s 1, 10-

Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage by
