FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Huntsville Police Department is investigating three Aggravated Robberies that occurred over the March
14th weekend.
The first occurred on March 14, at the Rue 21 clothing store in the Raven Village shopping center. At 2:29
p.m., officers with the Huntsville Police Department responded to the store and learned that a white male
suspect had displayed a small black handgun and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect was
described by witnesses as a white male in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately 59" and 220 lbs., and
having a fair complexion.
The suspect had two teardrop tattoos under his right eye and was wearing a long sleeve black shirt, a black
hat, and blue jeans. The suspect possibly committed an aggravated robbery earlier the same day in Conroe,
Texas. Detectives from Huntsville and Conroe are coordinating on the investigation.
The second Aggravated Robbery occurred on March 15, at 4:10 p.m., at Texas Made Trailer Parts located at
2307 Badger Lane. The suspects, who were known to the victims, displayed a handgun and tied the victims
to chairs. The suspects then stole a laptop computer, the victims' cell phones, the victims' car, and the keys
to their residence. The suspects left the business and proceeded to the victims' residence located outside
the city limits, within Walker County. The victims were able to free themselves from their restraints and called
911. Deputies from the Walker County Sheriff's Office responded to the victim's residence and located the
suspects within. After a brief struggle, Deputies arrested Justin Michael Ray, a 31-year-old white male, and
Christy Dawn Goode a 41-year-old white female.
The pair was charged with Aggravated Robbery (Felony 1),
Burglary of a Residence (Felony 2), and Unauthorized use of a Vehicle (State Jail Felony).
Huntsville Police Chief Kevin Lunsford wishes to thank the Walker County Sheriff's Office for their assistance
and quick response, which ultimately led to the arrest of the two violent felons.
The third Aggravated Robbery occurred on March 16, at 3:53 a.m. A black male suspect armed with a
shotgun attempted to commit an Aggravated Robbery at the Valero service station at 2904 11th Street. The
suspect displayed the shotgun and told the clerk to unlock the glass doors. Instead the clerk was able to take

cover and pressed the panic alarm. The suspect fled the scene without getting any money.
As officers with the Huntsville Police Department responded to Valero, another aggravated robbery was being
reported at 500 IH 45, at The Hitchin' Post truck stop. A suspect approached the victim, who was sleeping in
his pickup truck, and pointed a shotgun at him and demanded money. The suspect fled in an older model
Dodge or Chevrolet pickup, brown or tan in color, with a large tool box in the bed. Following investigation, it is
believed the suspect in both the Valero and The Hitchin' Post robberies is the same individual.
The investigations are ongoing on all three Aggravated Robberies. Anyone with information concerning these
Aggravated Robberies is asked to please contact Sgt. Ken Foulch of the Huntsville Police Department at

For any media questions or concerns, please contact Lieutenant James Barnes at 936-291-5460.
