E-DIERGENCY
Vv EREAS, pursuant to an election previously had
an ordinance vies duly enacted September 6, 1949, of record
in Volume H, page Q� of the I:'inutes of the City Council
of the City of Huntsville, Texas, adding additional terri-
tory and extending the corporate limits of the City of Hunts-
ville, and no official map or plan of said area has been
adopted by the City Council of the City of Huntsville; and,
":iHERIAS, a map or plat has been prepared by Valco,
Inc., engineers, of Houston, Texas, issued June, 19477 revised
and city limits extended September, 1949, the original of
;which is in the possession of the City of Huntsville, Texas,
and. the City Council deems it advisable and for the best in-
terest of the city that said map be adopted as the official
map of the City of Huntsville, Texas:

be filed by the Secretary of the City of untsville as of
February 7, 1950, and be signed by her for identification,
and shall hereafter be known and designated as the official
map of the City of Funtsville, Texas.
The fact that there is no official map or plat of
o
the City of Huntsville shving the boundaries of the extension
of the limits of the city creates a public necessity and emer-
gency, and this ordinance shall take effect from and after its
passage and its approval by the I,Zayor of the City of Huntsville,
Texas, and it is so ordained.
