AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, ACCEPTING
CERTAIN ROADWAYS IN THE WEST LAKE SHORES SUBDIVISION OF
ELKINS LAKE AS PUBLIC STREETS OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE,
TEXAS; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, there are certain roadways on property owned by Randy L. Gardner, Ruth M.
Cady and Gardner-Cady Development Co., L.L.P. which are the streets within West Lake Shores,
Section 3, a subdivision in Walker County, Texas (Elkins Lake); and
WHEREAS, Randy L. Gardner, Ruth M. Cady, and Gardner-Cady Development Co., L.L.P.
desire to dedicate such streets to the public and the City of Huntsville desires to accept such
dedication and make said streets public; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS,
that:
SECTION 1: Subject to receiving a dedicatory document acceptable to the City Attorney,
the streets shown on Exhibit "A" within the West Lake Shores, Section 3, a subdivision of Walker
County, Texas (Elkins Lake) are hereby accepted by the City of Huntsville as public street rights-of-
way and will henceforth be deemed public streets.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall become effective from and after the date of its
passage and the City Secretary is instructed to file a copy of this Ordinance along with the dedicatory
document from Randy L. Gardner, Ruth M. Cady, and Gardner-Cady Development Co., L.L.P. in
the Official Records of Walker County, Texas.
