HAN ORDINANCE LEVYING TAXES FOR THE CITY OF
HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, FOR THE YEAR 1228H.

The ordinance follows:
HAN ORDINANCE LEVYING TAXES FOR THE CITY OF
HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS, FOR THE YEAR 1228H.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Hunts-
ville, Texas, that there be and there is hereby levied for
the year 1x2;8, taxes against all taxable property in the city
of Huntsville at the respectiv ; rates and for the respective
purposes hereinafter set out, to -wit:

To pay interest and provide a sinking fund for the pay-
ment of the $19,500 outstanding Sewer Bonds of the City of
Huntsville, dated July 11 1916, a tax of 9¢ on each $100 val-
uation of taxable property.
To pay interest and provide a sinking fund for the payment
of the $7,500 Paving Bonds of the City of Huntsville, dated
July 11 1916, a tax of + on each $100 valuation of taxable
property.
To pay interest and provide a sinking fund for the payment
of the $7,500 Paving Bonds of the City of Huntsville, dated
July 1, 1920, a tax of 3 ¢ on each $100 valuation of taxable
property.
To pay interest and provide a sinking fund for the payment
of the $5000 outstanding Sewer Extension Bonds dated July 1, 19201
a tax of 22¢ on each $100 valuation of taxable property.
To pay interest and provide a sinking fund for the payment
of the $46,000 outstanding Paving Bonds dated September 10, 19231
a tax of 18¢ on each $100 valuation of taxable property.
To pay interest and provide a sinking fund for the payment
of the $108,000 Refunding Bonds that are in process of being
issued for the purpose of refunding an equal amount of warrant
indebtedness of the City of Huntsville, which bonds are being
dated in 1928, a tax of 400 on each $100 valuation of taxable
property.
To provide for the payment of any additional interest that
may be required to pay interest on any of the 6°10 warrants of the
city of Huntsville that are being refunded into 5�Io bonds, which
may be occasioned by any delay in consummating the exchange of
such 6% warrants for %o bonds, a tax of *0 on each $100 valuation
of taxable property; provided that so much of this tax as may not
be needed for this purpose shall without further order of this
Council be credited to the General Fund of this city.
For current expenses and the General Fund of the city of
Huntsville, a tax of on each $100 valuation of taxable
property.
