TO BE ENTITIXD are ordinance exterkling the corporate Limits of
the City of Huntsville over certain defined territory adjacent
to the City of Huntsville on the South boundary line thereof:

Bounds, R. T. Martins Jesse 'FeCulloch, T. E. Gillaspie, W. E.
Dailey, E. T. Earnest, C. G. Pate, J. W. McAdans, Leonard Baldwin,
J. W. Gillaspie and J. Sara Angier are inhabitants of the territory
hereinafter described and constitute a majority of the qualified
voters for members of the :Mate Legislature residing in said
territory adjoining the limits of the City of Huntsville, and
that said territory does not exceed one -half mile in width and
that said persons so constituting; a majority of the qualified
voters residing in said district have voted to accept the pro -
visions of Title 22 of the Revised Civil Statutes of the State
of' Texas and to become a part of the City of Huntsville, by
having the corporate limits of said city extended to include the
territory hereinafter described;
And it further being made to appear that three of the
said persons, qualified voters, residing in said district have
made affidavit to the effect that a majority of the qualified
voters residing in said district have voted to accept the pro-
visions of Title 22 of the Devised Civil Statutes of the State
of Texas, andhave voted to become a part of the said City of
Huntsville by having the corporate limits of the said City extend-
ed to include said territory:
It is therefore ordained by the City Council of the
City of Huntsville that the territory hereinafter described shall
be and Vie same is hereby annexed to and made a part of the City
of Huntsville, and the corporate limits of the said City of
Huntsville shall be and the save are hereby extended so as to

on this 17th day of November, A. D. 1936.
We the committee on ordinances of the City of Hunts-
ville to whom the above and foregoing ordinance has been
referred recommend that said ordinance be adopted.
