CITY OF HUNTSVILLE
TEXAS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
The City of Huntsville will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m. on July 7, 2016, at City
Hall, 1212 Avenue M regarding to the submission of
applications to the Texas Department of
Agriculture for a Texas Community
Development Block Grant (TxCDBG) —
Community Enhancement grant and a Main Street Revitalization Grant. The purpose
of this meeting is to allow citizens an opportunity to
discuss the citizen participation plan, the
development of local housing and community development needs, the amount of
TxCDBG funding available, all eligible TxCDBG activities, and the use of past
TxCDBG funds. The City
encourages citizens to participate in the
development of their TxCDBG applications and make their views known at this
public hearing. Citizens unable to attend this meeting may
submit their views and proposals to Dr. Sherry McKibben, Director of Neighborhood
Resources at Huntsville City Hall. Persons with disabilities that wish to attend this
meeting should contact City Hall to arrange for assistance. Individuals who require
auxiliary aids or services for this meeting should contact City Hall at least two days
before the meeting so that appropriate
arrangements can be made.

NOTICE OF CLASS 2 PERMIT MODIFICATION
PERMIT NO. HW -503131.001
APPLICATION. Texas Department of Criminal Justice -- Ellis Unit, a
hazardous waste management facility, has filed an application for a Class
2 modification to Texas Commission on Environmental Duality {TCEQ)
Hazardous Waste Permit No. HW -50361-001. The facility is located at
1697 FM 980 Road, Huntsville, Texas 77320 in Walker County, Texas.
The modification requests reinstallation of the monitoring wells at the Ellis
Unit due to deteriorating well conditions. Well P-1 will be moved greater
than 15 feet to relocate it outside the Swale. The facility contact is also
being updated. A draft permit has not been prepared as df the date of this
notice.
PUBLIC COMMENT! PUBLIC MEETING. Theapplicant will hold a public
meeting on this application on Thursday, July 21016 at 6:00 pm at
Conference Room 0A402, TDCJ Facilities Division, Two Financial Plaza
Ste. 400, Huntsville, TX 77340, as required by 30 TAC Section
305.69(0(4). The purpose of the public meeting is to provide information
and discuss issues related to the application. The applicants contact

Public comments on this application must be submitted within 60 days of

a public meeting on this application if there is a significant degree of
public interest. A public meeting is not a contested case hearing.
The Commission may also hold a contested case hearing pursuant to the
procedures for class 3 modifications which the Commission may follow if
there is significant public concern about the proposed modification, or the
complex nature of the change requires the more extensive procedures of a
Class 3 modification.
