PUBLIC HEARING
On Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 6:OOPM, the City of Huntsville City Council will hold a public
hearing in the Council Chambers at City Hall located at 1212 Avenue M, Huntsville, Texas,
77340, to take testimony concerning a request for a change in the zoning classification from
Management to Neighborhood Conservation for Lots 13-15, Block 2; Lots 1-8 Block 3; Lots 1
and 2, Block 4; and Lots 1-10 and 14-19, Block 13 of the Gibbs -Pritchett -Abercrombie
Subdivision; and Lot 11 of the Smither Subdivision generally located in the 1300 to 1500 blocks
of Avenue Q and Avenue 0 and from 13th Street to 15th Street.
You are hereby notified in accordance with the City of Huntsville Development Code, the City
Council plans to take action on this matter after a second reading of this item on November 13,
2012. The documents will be available on-line or at City Hall once the agenda is posted, which
is 72 hours before the meeting date. If you are unable to attend the public hearing, written
comments will be accepted during normal business hours in the City Secretary's Office at City
Hall. You may call the Planning Division at 936-294-5782 for more information.

- BID NOTICE -
The Owner invites competitive sealed proposals
from Contractors for the HUNTSVILLE
HOUSING AUTHORITY- FOUNDATION
REPAIRS TO HOUSING UNITS, Huntsville,
Texas. Proposals will be received until 2:00
p.m., Thursday, November 8, 2012, at the
Huntsville Housing Authority and at that
time proposals shall be opened and read aloud.
Proposals shall be delivered to the Huntsville
Housing Authority's Office at 299 Martin Luther
Drive, No. 1, Huntsville, Texas 77320,
936-294-0277. No proposal may be changed,
amended or modified after the same has been
submitted. A proposal may be withdrawn,
however, and resubmitted any time prior to the
time set for receipt of proposals. Huntsville
Housing Authority has the right to accept or.
reject any bid or to waive any technicality which
may be in the best interest of the Huntsville
Housing Authority.
A mandatory Pre -Bid Conference will be
held at 10:00 a.m.,Tuesday, October 23,
2012, at the Huntsville Housing Authority's
Office. All interested bidding contractors
must attend or have a qualified
representative present.
Included in the construction but not limited to
will be: Foundation Repairs
The work will be awarded under a single lump
sum contract for all general construction work.
Availability of Plans and Specifications: Plans
and Specifications are available from the
architect, TSG Architects AIA, 427 Saint
George
Street, PO Box 1573, Gonzales, Texas 78629,
830-672-7801.for a plan deposit of $100.00 per
each set, plus postage and handling if
applicable. A current, completed AIA A305
wit be required prior to receiving plans and
specs. Contractors may obtain two (2)
refundable sets after receipt of deposit, plus
postage and handling if applicable. A CD of the
construction document set is available for a
non-refundable deposit of $50, which includes
shipping, if applicable. Plans may also be
available for review at the Huntsville Housing
Authority's Office in Huntsville. Plans must be
returned pre -paid back to the architect within
ten (10) calendar days from bid date, in good
condition, for a complete
refund of plan deposit.
