PUBLIC HEARING
On September 20, 2011 at 6:OOPM, the City of Huntsville City Council will hold a public
hearing in the Council Chambers at City Hall located at 1212 Avenue M, Huntsville, Texas, to
take testimony concerning a request for a change in the zoning classification of Block 3 of the
G.A. White Subdivision bordered by 11th Street, Hickory Drive, Cedar Drive, and Pear Drive
from Neighborhood Conservation to Management.
You are hereby notified in accordance with the City of Huntsville Development Code, the City
Council plans to take action on this matter. The documents will be available at City Hall once
the City Council agenda is posted, which is 72 hours before the meeting date. If you are unable
to attend the public hearing, written comments will be accepted during normal business hours in
the office of the Planning Division located at the City Service Center, 448 State Highway 75

NOTICE OF RECEIPT OF APPLICATION AND
INTENT TO OBTAIN WATER QUALITY
PERMIT RENEWAL
PERMIT NO. W00011180001
APPLICATION. Texas Department of Criminal
Justice, P.O. Box 4011, Huntsville, Texas
77342, has applied to the Texas Commission
on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to renew
Texas Pollutant Discharge Elimination System
(TPDES) Permit No. W0001 1 1 80001 (EPA I.D.
No. TX0031607) to authorize the discharge of
treated wastewater at a volume not to exceed a
daily average flow of 850,000 gallons per day.
The domestic wastewater treatment facility is
located approximately 3.5 miles northwest of
State Highway 19 and approximately 12 miles
northeast of the City of Huntsville in Walker
County, Texas 77343. The discharge route is
from the plant site to a drainage ditch; thence to
Turkey Creek; thence to Lake Livingston.
TCEQ received this application on August 2,
2011.The permit application is available for
viewing and copying at Huntsville Public Library,
1216 14th Street, Huntsville, Texas.

Director has determined the application is
administratively complete and will conduct a
technical review of the application. After
technical review of the application is complete,
the Executive Director may prepare a draft
permit and will issue a preliminary decision, on
the application. Notice of the Application and
Preliminary Decision will be publsshed and
mailed to those who are on the county -wide
mailing list and to those who are on the
mailing list for this application. That notice
will contain the deadline for submitting
public comments.
