Proclamation No. 2024-07
WHEREAS, James Cauthen has earned the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America Organization, Eagle Scout; and
WHEREAS, James is one of only 4% of the Boy Scouts that achieve the highest rank of Eagle Scout; and
WHEREAS, James has participated in Boy Scouts and serving the Huntsville community for ten years, beginning in just first grade; and
WHEREAS, James has reached many goals and accomplishments throughout his Boy Scouts of America career including being elected to the Order of the Arrow that only 9% of all Boy Scouts
get to experience; and
WHEREAS, James is a model to his peers, a hard-working citizen, and a leader.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Russell Humphrey, Mayor of Huntsville Texas,
DO HEREBY CONGRATULATE AND PROCLAIM MARCH 24, 2024, as
