WHEREAS Pastor Jeff Hackleman of Family Faith Church in Huntsville, Texas, would like to honor a very special young man. That special young man would be Trey Davis. Trey is the son
of Butch and Sarah Davis; and
WHEREAS although Trey is confined to a wheel chair, he dedicates many hours a week in serving our community and Family Faith Church. One of the many services that Trey provides is volunteering
at “Friday Night Live”, a program wherein the youth of Huntsville gather to play basketball, enjoy a contemporary Christian music concert and to learn life principles; and
WHEREAS Trey is currently a sophomore at Heritage Christian Academy and is considered to be a leader in his class by his teachers and peers; and
WHEREAS Family Faith Church would like to honor Trey for his excellence in serving the Church and the Huntsville and Walker County, community. He is an outstanding young man and has
graciously dedicated many hours of volunteer service. Trey is an excellent example to the youth of Huntsville; and
WHEREAS Family Faith Church has been blessed to have Trey Davis as a volunteer with many of its programs and classes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY PROCLAIMED, by the power vested in me as Mayor and City Council Members of the City of Huntsville, Texas that:

be declared:
“TREY DAVIS DAY“
in the City of Huntsville and urge the congregation of Family Faith Church to thank Trey Davis for his unselfish dedication and hard work to help make our Church and community a better
place.
