The Council met in a special session with the following members present:

CALL TO ORDER [NOON]
Mayor Pro Tern Steed Smith called the special session to order.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE to US AND TEXAS FLAGS, INVOCATION
Mayor Pro Tem Smith led the invocation.
STATUTORY AGENDA
a. Consider and take action on the proposed development agreement with West Hills Park Venture and the proposed
engineer's agreement with McClure & Brown Engineering /Surveying, Inc.
b. Consider and take action to approve the purchase of an aerial fire truck with 100' platform and related equipment in the
amount of $797,602, and authorize the City Manager to enter into a municipal lease- purchase agreement with Koch Financial
for the financinq of the aerial truck and related equipment at 3.86% for a ten year period.
C. Considerand take action to authorize the City Attorney to negotiate acquisition of easements for the installation of sewer
collection lines along Sumac Road.
City Council adjourned into Executive Session to discuss this issue.
EXECUTIVE SESSION [12:25 p.m. - 12:34 p.m.]
If, during the course of the meeting and discussion of items covered by this notice, City Council determines that a
closed or executive session of the Council is required, then such closed meeting will be held as authorized by Texas
Government Code, Chapter 551, Sections:
551.071 - consultation with counsel on legal matters;
551.072 - deliberation regarding purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property;
551.073 - deliberation regarding a prospective gift;
551.074 - personnel matters regarding the election, appointment and/or duties of one or more officers and /or
employees;
551.076 - implementation of security personnel or devices;
551.087 - deliberation regarding economic development negotiation; and/or
Other matters as authorized under the Texas Government Code.
RECONVENE
Councilmember Choate made a motion to authorize the City Attorney to negotiate acquisition of easements for the
installation of sewer collection lines along Sumac Road and Councilmember Kayse seconded the motion The motion passed
unanimously.
