Proclamation No. 2023-20
WHEREAS, Dr. Scott Sheppard, Huntsville Independent School District
Superintendent, has earned the prestigious honor of being named 2023 Region 6 Superintendent of the Year; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Sheppard, exemplifies the Huntsville ISD motto
“Building Champions. Every One. Every Day.”; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Sheppard, has over 34 years of educational experience and 5 years serving the Huntsville ISD; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Sheppard, gives credit to the Huntsville ISD staff, students,
parents, and the Huntsville community for supporting the idea of building champions daily; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Sheppard, is a leader in our community and is a role model who leads children to be “lifelong learners and responsible citizens”; and
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Andy Brauninger, Mayor of Huntsville Texas, on this 5th day of July 2023, extend this Proclamation with sincere congratulations and recognition to
