Section S, prom and after the taking effect of this ordinance, it
shall be unlawful for the owner, lessee, or person in possession of
any occupied premises within said wewerdistrict, as created and defined
in Section 1 of this ordin nce, to maintain any cesspool, septic talk
or surface privy,
Any person violating this section of these ordinances shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof In e.ny court
of competent jurisdiction shall be fined in any sum not less than

Section 5, The City of Huntsville shall have the right to 'le,
tap , connect with, alter or change any public or private seder within
said city and when enor such public or private sewer within said city
shall have been connected with,' used, toped., altered or changed., t`.e
same shall tetrsafter become the property of the public and under the
supervision • and control of the city and a part of the city's sewer
system ►

Section 7. the office of Plunbing Inspector within and for the City
of Huntsville shall be and is hereby created and established,
The present Superintendent of the City Water works is constituted.
Plumbing Inspector, and he shall perform such duties as may be it possa

Council may determine, and he shall hold said office at the pleasure of
the City Council ►
Section 84 The Plumbing Inspector shall inspect each and every
connection made ad. to be made with the seeers a. l the seder system of
said City, He shall require every, suoh connection to be as in
accordance with the ordinances, rules ar,d regulations of tire City, and in,
keeping with sanitary skill and. science

sewer system of said City , not in accordin•nce with this ordinance,
Section 94 It shall be the duty of the Plumbing inspector to keep e.

Section 11. Every person and every plumber making any convection
with the sewers of the City .shall fill :in and tamp the ditch or cut
necessary to be 4ug over or across any portion of the street of the
City , such ditch or cut shall be filled to the surface .of the street
and rounded up not more than one foot above the surface,
Any person, whether owner of the property being connected with
the sewers, here in mentioned, or the plumber or other person digging
the ditch or cut and brackfilling the same, violating any of the prev4sions
of this ordinance, shall be deeled guilty Qgea."misdemeanor , and upon
conviction thereof in any court of competent jurisdiction shall be fined
in any sum not less than 45.00 nor more than •25,00.
Section 12, From and after the taking. effect of this ordinance it
shall be unlawful for any person., firm or corporation to pollute any
water course, Ot'Oelt , town branch or water shed, of any kind within the
limits of the City of Funtsville, by the discharge, directly or indirectly
of any ewage or unclean water, or linclean or polluting Matter or
thing therein, or in such proximity thereto :7:6 that it will probbly
rech and pollute the waters of such water course, creek, town branch
or watershed .
Any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the
